Privacy
What Professor Smartypants keeps on file about you, why, and for how long. Short, because the file is thin.
What we store
Your email address, the questions you ask and the answers you get (with the steps taken to produce them), how many demo questions you have used, and which link sent you here, if any. There is no password. Besides the cookie that keeps you signed in and one that remembers your language, we set no cookies.
Why
To sign you in without a password, to hold each person to 20 questions so the demo stays free, and to see which answers fail so we can improve them.
For how long
Questions and answers are deleted after 30 days. An account unused for 30 days is deleted with them. We keep a one-way hash of your email and your question count, so signing up again does not reset the allowance.
Who handles it
kodeo runs this demo. The text of your question goes to the language-model providers that read it and write the answer (Anthropic for Claude, TypeSafe for Jev). The sign-in code is sent through Resend. The app runs on Vercel and Neon, in the EU.
